Vice President of MEA
Angela works as Adilstone’s Vice President of the MEA (Middle East and Africa) from her home in Cape Town, South Africa. She has a collective 30 years of recruitment experience. Starting in the world of recruitment at the age of 20, Angela was appointed to the largest recruitment agency in
Johannesburg, Kelly Personnel. Angela was trained and started out as a client sales agent, moving across both temporary and permanent desks, thereafter promoted to Branch Manager. Angela's branch was awarded the top billing branch for 3 years in a row.
Angela realized how much she enjoyed the fast paced and challenging environment of recruitment, and at the same time, she was passionate about being a catalyst for change within the face of South African Recruitment. Angela took on the challenge of starting her own recruitment agency, and in 1996, 'Affirmative Careers and Recruitment' was born. In the capacity of business owner / managing director, Angela operated and managed an International Recruitment company based in Johannesburg, South Africa for 19 years. Within 10 years of operation, Angela had over 400 staff members reporting to her.
In January 2016, Angela changed her course and moved to the Middle East for 4 years, taking her knowledge of business with her to empower women in small start-up businesses. When Angela moved from the Middle East to go back to Cape Town, she joined Adilstone Group, working first as Director of General Recruitment and now as the VP of the MEA.
Stephen is a recruiter for Adilstone Group from his home in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been recruiting people ever since he started his first asset management business. After 20 years as a leader in the financial services industry in South Africa, he resigned as joint Managing
Director of one of South Africa's largest asset managers to start his own coaching and consulting practice. The combination of experience over 30 years in business with training in 2014 as an Organizational and Relational Systems™ coach taught him his greatest lesson: "Relationships Matter." This is the reason he formed Roberts Recruitment (Pty) Ltd with his son Nathan, in response to specific client requirements in the area of recruiting. Later, he joined Adilstone Group. Stephen has an honors degree in Industrial Economics from the Nottingham University, UK, and he is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited coach.
Outside of work, Stephen loves to spend time with family and friends. He particularly enjoys traveling (especially to African Game Reserves), playing bridge, listening to books and writing poetry.
