Training Coordinator (Ref#039)

JOB SUMMARY

The Training Coordinator serves in coordinating training logistics to the agency’s foster families, associates, and affiliates. This individual ensures the best possible learning experiences through effective planning and participant communications. The Training Coordinator primary function is to monitor quality assurance for trainings and resources.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Agency’s Foundations & New Hire Orientation Staff Trainings

  • Work with church relationships to coordinate logistics for trainings
  • Communicate with agency families related to foundation sign up, training hours and credits, requirements, logistics, and certificates
  • Assist with scheduling and support of training contractors
  • Assemble materials for in-person learning sessions
  • Ensure logistical setup with facilities at the learning sites (test equipment, room configuration, food etc....)
  • Provide customer service for agency families
  • Collect feedback information and reports through surveys and rating reports
  • Communicate customer feedback from trainings to management
  • Manage training registrations
  • Manage and ensure live training documentation is completed including sign in sheets, and training credits
  • Schedules and hosts New Hire Orientation including speaker management/scheduling, room setup, and logistics

Training

  • On-call for training team to resolve logistical issues

Technical & Documentation

  • Create and maintain training department policy and procedures
  • Maintain training-related data and documents and reports
  • Generate custom and ad hoc reports as requested
  • Validate all external certificates uploaded to system
  • Manages GA Score API for agency’s family training reporting
  • Manages API feed from Absorb to Extended Reach for accuracy and compliance
  • Manages user accounts for the agency’s foster families, MTL’s and staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 year’s prior experience planning and/or managing logistics for events
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient integrating data from multiple sources and generating custom reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success running projects independently and keeping work organized
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Experience with registration and event planning software a plus
