JOB OVERVIEW

The company is a strong leader throughout the Southeast in the petroleum wholesale industry, providing branded and unbranded petroleum supply to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 

Currently, the company is seeking to fill its soon to be vacant weekend dispatcher position with an individual possessing and excelling in the following areas:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate and work with others under various conditions
• Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and drivers
• Computer knowledge to effectively schedule and dispatch
• Ability to multitask and handle stressful events as they occur and provide needed assistance
• Ability to work under stress and maintain a calm demeanor, treating our customers with respect and understanding
• Ability to relay pertinent information and actively work on developing good relationships with customers

EXPECTATIONS

• Dispatch fuel deliveries in an efficient and profitable manner
• Ability to communicate with drivers, customers, peers, and management
• Establish cost-effective delivery routes and schedules
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve delivery complaints
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, spills, accidents
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings, and ability to be on call as needed
• Other duties as requested
