Cardiovascular Service Line Director (Ref#012)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for the integration and teamwork of Cardiovascular services to ensure optimal care of patients. Ensures the development and implementation of the service line business plan, driving profitable service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes. Collaboratively works with clinicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives and increase physician/hospital alignment.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Ensures the development of long and short-term service-line growth strategies and establishes benchmarks for reporting.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts that promote clinical excellence, revenue enhancement and cost efficiency.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance for all areas of responsibility.
  • Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates new patient care programs and practice models including identification of clinical objectives, capital, and other resource requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clinical/administrative experience as a Cardiovascular leader with a clinical background in some aspect of Cardiovascular service lines.
  • Must be a leader who can manage this service line for a Medical Center with approximately 350 beds.
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of leadership experience and at least 7 years of Cardiovascular experience.

 

BENEFITS

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - 170,000. Bonus Eligible.
