JOB DESCRIPTION

Grow your Career as a Controls Engineer for Automation Equipment. Our Client does nearly 1 BILLION in sales in 21 countries with over 1200 employees. This is a great opportunity to use your EE skills to design, build and direct new equipment implementation on “cradle to grave” projects. You will be training to be the “project master” after you prove yourself. Under the direction of a Sr. Engineer you will use existing designs as a baseline, starting with client requirements to create the core electrical and controls design of new applications. Upon completion you will do the install and debug at the client site. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Machine Controls Engineers to develop new skills and relationships in a demanding technical niche. After you prove yourself you will become the PROJECT MASTER!

This is a 40 person engineering team located in SE Michigan for a very successful established company with a good growth track record. This division is the top global performer on the sales per capita ratio. They also really care about life work balance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSEE, BSET or similar 4 year degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Motion Control Programming
  • Limited travel, willingness to travel Overseas (Inner Company) and to Mexic (Customer)
  • Customer and Supplier Interface Ability

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Programming experience with some of these: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Telemecanique, Wonderware, Panelview, DeltaV etc.
  • 2-D AutoCad or similar application for electrical documentation, EPLAN preferred
  • Motion Control Programming
  • High and Low Voltage Controls Programming
  • Machine Electrical Design
  • Power Conversion (AC-DC, DC-AC)

 

BENEFITS 

  • Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
