JOB DESCRIPTION

The company is looking for a Team Lead to join our development team. You will be responsible in leading our technical teams to continue to grow in knowledge and ability as your work alongside them in delivering projects to our different clients around the world.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Empowering your team through coaching and career planning
  • Conduct technical interviews and help advise hiring decisions
  • Advise on staffing issues and performance reviews
  • Hands-on coding and code review 25-75% of the time
  • Work together with our team to deliver projects for many of our clients across the world
  • Work within the Scrum framework and be involved in requirements analysis, planning, estimations, and continuous software development
  • Demonstrate technical leadership through self-assignment of tasks and using appropriate technical solutions and architecture
  • Perform design and code reviews and teach the team good coding practices and logic
  • Participates in installation, on-going maintenance and production support of software systems
  • Maintain a high standard of quality through knowledge of coding of unit and integration tests

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in team leadership or management
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, ES Next, Typescript or PHP
  • Knowledge of Node.js and/or React, and frameworks available for it
  • (ExpressJS, Restify...)
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Understanding fundamental design principles
  • Experience with relational and non-relational DB (MySQL, MongoDB...)
  • Experience in building web services and familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Docker experience and some basic DevOps skills are a bonus
  • Good English communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Proactivity in problem solving and identifying areas to improve in our teams
  • Passion for technology, willingness to learn, and a good attitude
