The person filling this position has primary responsibility for the configuration and regular backup of windows-based servers corporate-wide. It is this person’s responsibility to ensure these systems perform optimally and remain operational. Provide notification to all involved parties regarding scheduled and non-scheduled downtime.



Information Technology

  • Primary responsibilities for the Windows-based servers, peripherals, and software.
  • Maintain the company's storage environment.
  • Provide administration for VMWare ESX servers.
  • Develop and maintain server availability guidelines.
  • Work independently in areas of primary responsibility and produce written arguments for changing technologies and/or procedures for discussion with the IT Operations Supervisor.
  • Conduct training amongst IT Employees; organize and teach classes to groups of general employees.


  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment including but not limited to eye, ear, and hand protection.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
  • Promote strong company image and maintain positive working relationships at all times including professional behavior with customers (very limited) and department co-workers (daily basis).
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Perform work according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested.




  • Degree in CIS, CS, or Computer Engineering or relevant experience


  • Four years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting solutions on the Windows platform, or related college degree.


  • Ability to perform advanced math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend advanced written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards.
